Gregory & Appel Insurance (G&A) announced today the hire of David Fischer as its Chief Revenue Officer. As CRO, Fischer will lead revenue generation and go-to-market strategies for the company.
“Our organization is in a period of dynamic innovation to change the way our clients experience insurance. David will certainly add to this momentum as he brings his diverse and extensive background of leading organizations to new market growth and opportunities,” said Dan Appel, Chairman & CEO.
Most recently Fischer architected the reorganization of a privately held InsurTech business resulting in revenue growth that was four times the industry and to a 25-year historic high revenue attainment.
“His strategic approach to exploring new market opportunities aligns incredibly well with our culture,” said Andrew Appel, President. “He also understands and values the importance of our clients, colleagues and community.”
After serving eight years as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corp, David spent twelve years in the high-tech public sector with an emphasis on international sales providing manufacturing software solutions to the Fortune 100. David has spent the last fourteen years in the private sector. During that time he has led innovative startups from launch to acquisition, developed strategies for a financial recovery and created the global go-to-market strategy to rebrand one of the earliest founded U.S. software companies.
Fischer added, “I could not be any more excited to join Gregory & Appel. The stellar and impeccable market reputation is what originally attracted me to the organization, but it was my interactions with the team that solidified my desire to join their ranks.”
