Paul is a Senior Account Executive for the Worksite Benefits Department at Gregory & Appel Insurance. He became a licensed agent in 1993 to begin his career as an individual producer, specializing in life, health and securities. Paul turned his focus to worksite marketing and voluntary benefits when he joined Hauser & Associates Insurance Services in 1996, where he was instrumental in their success through his leadership and proficiency in all aspects of worksite marketing and the benefits enrollment process. Working with 150+ employers across 16 states Paul honed his skills in sales, broker relations, enrollment set-up, benefits presentations and enrollments, enroller evaluation and training, site management, policyholder customer service, employer relations, networking, and public relations. Paul's primary concentration has been in city/county government and healthcare with additional experience in education and manufacturing industries. On July 1, 2012, Hauser & Associates combined staff and resources with Gregory & Appel to create one of the largest Worksite Benefits Divisions in the Midwest where Paul continues to utilize and grow his extensive experience. After 20 years, Paul still believes (after due diligence to select the best benefit for the employer, their employees and families) that education and communication are the most important aspects of any successful benefit program. Paul has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Tri-State University and was a Regional Sales & Marketing Manager in the US and Canada for a division AT&T Bell Laboratories 7 years prior to beginning his insurance career. He and his wife, Valerie, have been married for 26 years and have worked together in the insurance industry for 19 years. They live on the south side of Indianapolis and have 2 sons.
