Gregory & Appel Insurance Announces Promotions of Sheri Alexander and Lacey Robinson

Gregory & Appel Insurance Chairman & CEO Dan Appel announced today the promotion of Sheri Alexander to the position of Chief Strategy Officer, and has charged Lacey Robinson, Senior Vice President, Employee Benefits with the continued growth, innovation, and advancement of the Employee Benefits division, effective January 1, 2019.

Alexander most recently served as President, Employee Benefits where she led the significant growth of Gregory & Appel Insurance’s employee benefits division.  As Chief Strategy Officer, she will advise on corporate strategy and augment her many key external leadership positions.  She will also continue to serve on the Gregory & Appel Insurance executive leadership team and Board of Directors.

Alexander joined Gregory & Appel Insurance in 2005 as Senior Vice President, Employee Benefits, was named to President, Employee Benefits in April 2016.  Prior to joining Gregory & Appel Insurance she served in senior leadership roles with Marsh & McClennan/Mercer.  She was recognized in 2016 by Employee Benefit Adviser among the Most Influential Women in Employee Benefits and was recognized by the Indianapolis Business Journal as the 2012 Woman of Influence for her professional and civic accomplishments.

Robinson began her career at Gregory & Appel Insurance in 2005 as Group Benefits Producer, was promoted to Vice President in 2006, became Client Services Manager in 2016, and most recently Senior Vice President, Employee Benefits in 2017.  She is a member of the Gregory & Appel Insurance Board of Directors.
