Our Response to COVID-19

Dear Clients, Colleagues and Community,

Our thoughts are with those that have been impacted by the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic. We're incredibly grateful for those individuals working around the clock to keep our shared community safe and healthy.

As COVID-19 continues to cause disruption and uncertainty in our lives and businesses, I want to reassure you that Gregory & Appel is committed to being a source of stability and providing you uninterrupted service and support.

Work-From-Home Infrastructure

We implemented remote work measures on March 16 to honor our commitment to our clients by preparing for business continuity, to our colleagues by putting their wellbeing first, and to our community by doing our part to reduce the spread of the virus.  We'll support the intent of the Indiana Governor's and City of Indianapolis Mayor’s stay-at-home orders by continuing our work-from-home environment even though our industry is on the essential services list. Rest assured, this will not impact your service.

Client Service

Please continue to contact your Gregory & Appel account management team for any assistance.  Our fully-remote workforce is well equipped to serve our customers through our secure work-from-home network, and our claims service center remains available 24/7 at 1-800-968-7491.  In addition, virtual risk advising practices are in full use to continue providing support for our clients.

We encourage businesses and individuals to access updated information on our COVID-19 resource page.  We’re also providing a live weekly webinar to address your most pressing insurance and HR questions related to COVID-19.

As a fifth-generation family and employee-owned company for over 135 years, we have seen and overcome challenging times. While these are certainly uncharted waters, we will stand strong for our clients, colleagues and community.

In solidarity,

Andrew Appel, President & CEO
