Venture Capital/Private Equity

Gregory & Appel is Indiana's sole member of TechAssure, the exclusive insurance provider for the National Venture Capital Association (NVCA). Since portfolio company litigation often drives many claims for venture capital and private equity firms, TechAssure created VentureInsure, a best-in-class venture capital (VCAP) policy for VC/PE firms and their portfolio companies that provides an integrated solution to mitigate D&O and E&O-related exposures.

With more than 70 participating firms and 250 Portfolio Companies, our VCAP program is one of the largest in the country dedicated exclusively to Venture Capital and Private Equity firms. It also allows us to leverage our size and expertise for the benefit of our individual clients.

Gregory & Appel has also worked with two different clients navigating the Initial Public Offering (IPO) process in 2011. IPOs are major D&O events that require thoughtful and effective planning along with a proven process to ensure the best results.
