In Indiana, we work with more than 30 healthcare employers, recognizing their need to mitigate threats of acquisition and unionization and their need to provide a competitively designed benefits package to a diverse workforce.

Ashleih is a Commercial Account Executive for Gregory & Appel. Prior to joining the agency, Ashleih worked in the medical field representing pharmaceutical companies. Her primary areas of focus are home health care agencies, physician groups including medical malpractice, and as a former collegiate athlete has an interest in gymnastics facilities. Ashleih received her degree from DePauw University.
Jeff joined Gregory & Appel in 1988, after 15 years of experience with other insurance companies, with his last position being the Indiana Regional Vice President for a major medical malpractice insurance company. His specialties include all types of professional liability with a specific emphasis in the health care industry. He is a member of the Indiana Society of Healthcare Risk Management (ISHRM) and holds a B.S. from Indiana University. Jeff has also earned the CPCU designation. He is a member of the Gregory & Appel Board of Directors.
Offering clients over 20 years of insurance experience, MaryAnn has been employed by Gregory & Appel since 1988. She specializes in Property & Casualty for real estate owners and managers. MaryAnn is a member of the Accident Fund Insurance Company of America Agents Advisory Council, and the Indiana Insurance Company Agency Council. She has earned the Accredited Advisor of Insurance (AAI) designation and is a CPCU candidate.
Jean Casolaro is a Vice President/Employee Benefits Consultant in the Employee Benefits Department for Gregory & Appel. Jean has 30 years experience in the employee benefits insurance and consulting/brokerage field. She has worked with employers of many industries, with a focus on healthcare, Not-for-Profits, manufacturing and education. She has extensive experience in both fully insured and self-funded medical/dental/vision plan arrangements, provider excess risk placements, group purchased employee benefit programs, Wellness and Disease Management Programs, Consumer Driven Plans and worksite marketing programs. Jean is a member of the local CEBS (Certified Employee Benefits Specialist) chapter as well as the State Association of Health Underwriters.
