Personal Umbrella/Excess

Also known as excess liability, a personal umbrella policy is designed to provide coverage in the event of a catastrophic claim, lawsuit, or judgment. Determining how much coverage you need depends on many factors, including: the value of current and future assets; the number of vehicles and drivers in your household, especially teenagers; and any other activity that puts you at greater risk.
