Founded in 1884, Gregory & Appel Insurance has been a privately owned, independent agency since its inception. 126 years later, we're still growing strong as the 66th largest insurance agency in the United States.
Our growth has occurred organically—rather than through mergers or acquisitions—allowing us to focus on our employees and our clients. We're proud of the fact that there are currently twenty-eight employee-owners in the firm, and that everyone company-wide participates in profit sharing.
A dedicated team of professionals is a key contributor to our longevity and our energy. For three straight years, the Indiana Chamber of Commerce named Gregory & Appel one of the ten Best Places to Work in Indiana.
