Higher Education

Our commercial insurance service professionals properly tailor programs for universities and colleges. Our consultative approach to risk management can prevent gaps in coverage.

When you work with our team, we analyze your needs and exposures, set priorities and objectives, and conduct a thorough pre-underwriting process. We then pair you with the carrier partner whose coverages best fit your business objectives. Throughout our relationship, we evaluate the effectiveness of our programs and adjust as needed to continually improve your insurance plan.

Client Anecdote: A private university client of Gregory & Appel acquired a foreign campus in a country that had experienced a major international event. Due to the potential threat of terrorism, the available insurance markets were limited. Through our carrier relationships we were able to secure insurance and roll the foreign campus into the university’s overall risk management program. Our client is covered at home and abroad.
