Gregory & Appel is pleased to present our new Human Resources seminar series. This value added offering is designed to support the training and educational needs of our partners who are involved in the areas of Human Resource management.
These monthly educational programs will focus on current Human Resource issues and be lead by various experts in their field. Topics to be covered include: Compensation, Compliance, Employee Benefits, Employee Relations, Legislative Updates, Workers Compensation, and other HR-related Risk Management issues.
"In a recent survey, employees were asked what they meant by “improved communications”. What that really means is not more newsletters, corporate emails or paycheck flyers, but employees want senior leadership to come out and listen to them, to hear their ideas and to find out what they need to do their jobs better.”
Melissa will introduce participants to how to make this paradigm shift in their communication process and how they can totally revolutionize their culture by how they interact, and in, turn how their employees engage.
The first part of this program will provide HR professionals a look at pre-retirement tools that can be presented to their workforce on proper retirement planning for employees and their spouses. A great resource for HR professionals that need to provide retirement education/planning to their employees. Program is available at no cost to ER or EE. The second part of the program we will have a Public Affairs Specialist present a overview of Medicare and Social Security at a level most people can understand.ejao
