Associations
Chris is a second generation insurance industry professional, who joined Gregory & Appel after working in Indianapolis as a Producer for a global insurance agency. His specialty focus areas include contractors, placing difficult coverages for manufactures and in serving not-for-profit organizations. Chris began his career as an outside sales rep covering Indiana after graduating from Indiana State University. He is a board member for Giving Sum, The Children\'s Bureau and is involved in the Meals on Wheels Capital Campaign.
Betsy is a Certified Insurance Counselor who began her commercial insurance career with Liberty Mutual, where she helped a variety of mid-sized and larger clients develop their standard and alternative risk transfer programs. Betsy is especially astute at bringing risk management resources to bear for her clients\' benefit. While she has experience across a variety of industry segments, she brings considerable expertise to retail, construction and transportation accounts. Betsy attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. 
Don grew up in Indianapolis and he and his family currently live in Midtown Indy, where they are very active in their community. After graduating from Ball State University, he began he career as a Surety Bond Underwriter with Seaboard Surety Company in Chicago, IL. Subsequently, he came back to Indy where he worked with national and local insurance agencies before joining Gregory & Appel. Handling challenging business situations and bringing risk management resources together is where Don is particularly strong. He is predominately attracted to dynamic, growing companies with unique exposures and challenges. 
Steve has been in the commercial insurance business since 1989. Prior to that, he spent ten years in agricultural chemical sales. He brings considerable expertise to clients within the manufacturing and environmental sectors. He also focuses on companies within the construction industry. A graduate of Illinois State University, Steve is an avid golfer.
