Sheri Alexander serves as Senior Vice President and Employee Benefits Division Manager of Gregory & Appel. She has 32 years of experience in the employee benefits consulting and brokerage field. Sheri primarily serves clients in the fields of healthcare (hospitals, retirement communities and physician groups), higher education (colleges and universities) and manufacturing.

Sheri has considerable experience with mergers and acquisitions in both healthcare and manufacturing and has represented Taft-Hartley employers at the bargaining table. In addition to her extensive experience with traditional employee benefits plans, Sheri has expertise in direct-contracting, managed care organizations, provider excess risk placements, group captives, voluntary benefits, and outsourced benefits administration.

Sheri is an active member of the Board of Directors of Little Red Door Cancer Agency, Cancer Support Community of Central Indiana, and Gregory & Appel. She currently sits on the Advisory Councils of Anthem and United Healthcare. Sheri is a longstanding member of the local and national CEBS (Certified Employee Benefits Specialist) chapters, the State and National Associations of Health Underwriters, Executive Women in Healthcare, the Indiana Society of Healthcare Human Resources Administration, and NAWBO (National Association of Women Business Owners). Sheri was named to the Indianapolis Business Journal’s list of “Who’s Who in Healthcare & Benefits” in 2011.
